Firstly, the building was under maintenance. All the rooms looked dystopian the way they were covered in the blue tape and plastic sheets, even our room was under maintenance. When we first tried to enter, it took 5 minutes to even get our key accepted, and the door was super stuck. We thought maybe it was broken, but we got it open. Obstacle number one complete. Second obstacle: the cigarette smell. It was so strong it was like someone JUST lit it up not even 30 minutes to us entering. It was INTENSE. We made sure to call the front desk upon smelling it to make sure we wouldn't be charged, but she just sounded confused and annoyed. Luckily, it was taken into consideration, because we weren't charged for it. Another lucky factor: two beds when one was covered in what appeared to be sawdust? We had a rebound bed that was sawdust free...yay! The window was covered up on the outside with thick plastic, so we only had a small back window for airflow and the fan only half worked. The lights tended to refuse to function, flickering or turning off for several minutes altogether. The pipes were LOUD so don't expect a quiet shower. The shower walls were a little dirty, but nothing wild. The shower floors are EXTREMELY slippery. Do not go in them if you are a fall risk or even remotely clumsy. Even my sturdy fiancé almost cracked his head open. Overall, it was not the worst place I've ever been, and trust me, I've been in some sketchy places. Good for necessary sleep, that's it.

I had a hard time trying to get our luggage to the lobby since my husband had to take everything out and drive away. Maybe there was some lack of communication but the valet parking guy wanted my husband to leave the key inside the car and said that he would have to move the car to the parking and we didn't want to pay that service for a car that we were just about to return to the rental company right after that. I wasn't happy about that and looked like the guy knew it. I had to call my husband right after getting the key for the room and when he came back the guy agreed to let my husband park the car at the front till we get our luggage in the room and come back to return the rental car. When we came back down they guy gave my husband a paper with a phone number and offered to give us ride coming back from the rental but we didn't even called him
